October’s Meeting
Hi all,
Thanks to all those that turned up for the October Meeting at Scotsys on Tuesday night. If you where not there, you missed out on a presentation from SoftPress on their web development software. Thanks to Joe for coming all the way to Glasgow for this. This was the first time SoftPress have done a presentation for a MUG in the UK and they are now approaching other MUG’s to run their session. If anyone has any feedback, please email committee@glasmug.com and we will forward your comments on.
There was also a prize draw for PAID members in attendance. The prizes this month where a copy of SoftPress Pro & Express which where donated by Softpress. We also have a variety of SPECIAL APPLE prizes which I bought from the “Mothership” during my recent trip to San Francisco. These include Apple branded t-shirts, caps, notebooks, pens, etc. These prizes are only available from Apple HQ in the good old US of A, so you cannot buy them online or in the UK.
We will be offering these up over the coming months as prizes to the group. Only PAID members who attend the meetings will go into the draws. We have ALOT of people who’s name where drawn out on Tuesday for the software but couldn’t win as they where not in attendance – just another incentive to attend the GlasMUG meetings.
Our first Apple prize went to Jamie, who won an Apple branded Mouse Matt – who knows what the prize will be in November!!!
